Before You Invest Three Minutes…
In the previous article in this series, we looked at how Microsoft Modern Work and Business Applications partners can build a repeatable AI business in partnership with Solgari through our Frontier Partner Accelerator programme.
This time, we’re looking at FY27 Frontier Transformation from our perspective as a Software Development Company (SDC).
Across our Microsoft Teams and Dynamics 365 applications, we’re building and publishing transactable applications around customer requirements and measurable outcomes. The recently launched Solgari Fan Engagement app for Microsoft Teams and Dynamics 365 is one example of that approach in action.
From Customer Requirement to MarketPlace App
The Solgari Fan Engagement app is now on Microsoft Marketplace, giving sports and entertainment organisations an out-of-the-box solution with a rapid path to value.
The app supports voice, email, SMS and digital channels across fan sales and service use cases, capturing conversations in the relevant CRM, including Microsoft Dataverse.
A key component published with the app is the AI OmniAgent, delivered through our partnership with Napster. AI OmniAgents can support relevant 24/7 inbound and outbound fan sales and service use cases, with handover to an expert team member when required while retaining the conversation and context.
The customer journey follows three horizons:
- LAND: Start with a specific fan or sponsor engagement requirement, deploying the relevant people, channels and AI OmniAgents to deliver value rapidly.
- EXPAND: Build on the initial use case, adding relevant team members, channels, further AI OmniAgents and additional fan or sponsor engagement use cases, while capturing a growing body of conversational data in the relevant CRM.
- UNLOCK AI: Use that captured conversational data as the business context for Copilot, AI agents and Voice of the Fan and Sponsor intelligence, enabling investment in measurable AI outcomes.
Transact on Marketplace → Meet Fan & Sponsor Engagement Needs → Capture Conversational Data → Invest in Measurable AI Outcomes
Measurable Customer Outcomes
The use cases behind the Fan Engagement app are already being deployed in professional sport.
AMB Sports & Entertainment, operator of Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United, has deployed Solgari for Teams & Dynamics 365 across 145 staff to handle 2M+ fans and 200+ events annually, while creating the conversational data foundation for its wider AI strategy.
Lincoln City FC has deployed Solgari for Microsoft Teams + HubSpot, capturing fan and sponsor conversations in HubSpot and turning them into commercial intelligence, with 216% partner growth and five hours saved per commercial salesperson each week.
Frontier Accelerate for Marketplace
This approach connects directly to Microsoft’s FY27 Frontier Accelerate for Marketplace.
AI Build & Publish (Marketplace) supports Software Development Companies to build AI into SaaS solutions and publish them as transactable offers on Microsoft Marketplace.
The programme also includes significant Microsoft incentives linked to planned Marketplace Billed Sales targets, supporting the build and publication of these solutions.
The Fan Engagement app is one example within our broader Microsoft Teams and Dynamics 365 application strategy of putting that opportunity into practice.
For us, the Marketplace GTM can be expressed simply:
Build & Publish → Marketplace Transaction → Customer Success → Co-Sell & MPO → More Customer Outcomes
From Customer Success to Marketplace Opportunities
Customer success creates the opportunity to take proven use cases to more organisations through Microsoft co-sell and Marketplace.
With the Fan Engagement app, we’re working in co-sell with the Microsoft Sports & Entertainment team around professional sports opportunities.
We’re also working with partners including Napster and AT&T as part of that GTM. Napster provides the AI OmniAgent capability within the Fan Engagement app, while AT&T includes its connectivity and carrier services through Microsoft Marketplace multiparty private offers (MPOs).
This provides a route to bring complementary capabilities together around the customer requirement and extend proven fan and sponsor engagement use cases to more organisations.
